Doctor Web Development Division
The primary objective of beta-testing is improved quality of software products released by Doctor Web.
Software available in the Files section is subject to beta testing.
Beta testing allows us to see how software products/components run in diverse software environments using different types of hardware and to detect bugs that were not found during internal testing. It also provides user feedback on an upcoming software product/component.
Our testing tools include the computers and software of beta testers, the Dr.Web Bug Tracker, and special sections of the Dr.Web Users' Forum.
Please read the information below before registering and downloading software for beta testing:
- Doctor Web is not responsible for any consequences that may arise from testing beta versions of Dr.Web software.
- Any documentation on the existing released version of a product (if available) should be studied prior to installing a beta version. It would also be a good idea to review any recommendations from the developers regarding software product/component testing.
- The Technical support service of Doctor Web does not support users testing beta versions of its software products/components. Beta testers should submit all questions, suggestions, and descriptions of bugs found during beta testing, to the Dr.Web Bug Tracker. Recommendations for submitting bug reports can be found here.
